Careers for Life Int'l is a Kenyan registered NGO that was founded primarily to break the cycle of poverty that envelopes certain sections of the Kenyan society. This is particularly true of the marginalized communities and those from ASAL areas. At the time, our main focus was on provision of educational opportunities to young, academically bright and deserving Kenyans to study overseas.

Over the years we, as part of the international community, have awakened to the fact that poverty does not just exist. It arises from and is exacerbated by destruction or degradation if natural resources particularly the environment.

We have now refocused our NGO to address the issues of environmental conservation in our society. Our premier effort is now on national tree planting by all to recover lost ground as a result of wanton destruction of Kenya's forests. We have targeted our campaign to largely feature Kenyan students and other youths engaged in various preoccupations. Our efforts are targeted to not only reforest and afforest Kenya, but also to provide various local communities with sufficient forestry resources for their local use.
